After having their initial launch run into some red tape troubles, New Leaf is back, offering some sorely needed competition in the Canadian market.
From Winnipeg, they are offering some great prices to Abbotsford or Victoria, BC and Hamilton, Ontario for summer travel.
Winnipeg to Hamilton, Ontario - $193 CAD roundtrip including taxes
Winnipeg to Edmonton, Alberta - $198 CAD roundtrip including taxes
Winnipeg to Abbotsford, BC - $238 CAD roundtrip including taxes
Winnipeg to Victoria, BC - $238 CAD roundtrip including taxes
Be aware that New Leaf is a no-frills budget airline, similar to the model seen in Europe. Everything costs extra, beyond a personal item. A carry-on bag is $25. Your first checked bag is $30. complete list of fees
The last time New Leaf launched, WestJet and Air Canada responded by dropping their prices. That's what competition does. Keep an eye on YWG Deals for word of them doing so again!

2. Search for a flight from Winnipeg (YWG) to one of the cities listed above. Start with a date that is July 25 or later.

WestJet has dropped the price of their flights from Winnipeg to ....
Kelowna, BC - $251 CAD roundtrip including taxes (45% below typical best price) - Aug/Sep/Oct travel
Hamilton, Ontario - $253 CAD roundtrip including taxes (44% below typical best price) - Sep/Oct travel
Have a look on Google Flights to find the available dates.
You may run into difficulty trying to book the flights to Hamilton by going from Google Flights to WestJet.com - or even when going to WestJet.com directly. (The flights to Kelowna seem to work)
Take the same dates you found on Google Flights, and try them on FlightHub.com. They can be booked through there.

Update 6/24 - More price drops from WestJet
The WestJet website and FlightNetwork.com are showing flights from Winnipeg to...
Kelowna, British Columbia for $197 CAD roundtrip including taxes (or $187 CAD if you use the Flight Network promo code below). Aug 22-26 is the only available date combination.
Vancouver, British Columbia for $253 CAD roundtrip including taxes (or $243 CAD if you use the Flight Network promo code below). The only date combination currently showing this price is October 9 to October 13 or 16, 2016 (over Thanksgiving).
Abbotsford, British Columbia for $245 CAD roundtrip including taxes (or $235 CAD if you use the Flight Network promo code below). Try Thu/Sun to Thu/Sun dates in August, September, and October 2016. Working dates seem very limited.
Victoria, British Columbia for $245 CAD roundtrip including taxes (or $235 CAD if you use the Flight Network promo code below). Try Oct 5-12 or Oct 12-19, 2016.

You can bring the price down another $10 CAD once you get to Flight Network by using the promo code: 3P10OFF321
You'll find the spot to enter the promo code on the passenger details page (after you've selected the flight). It can be difficult to find.

There are no blackout dates.
New Leaf has added flights from Winnipeg to Edmonton, Alberta. The introductory prices start at $198 CAD roundtrip including taxes.

2. Search for a flight from Winnipeg to Edmonton (YEG). Look for the $99 flights between Aug 21 and Oct 2, 2016.
Flights over Labour Day are currently available at this price.
