- They've recently changed their name from Gran Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an Golf Resort to Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an.
- The one knock against the Sian Ka'an is that it's not right on the beach. There's frequent trams that take you there.
- When you buy a package to one Gran Bahia property, you get access to the other 3 in the area.
