Looks like Delta is having an unadvertised price drop on their flights from Winnipeg to Anchorage, Alaska (ANC). They've dropped their flights to about 50% below their usual bottom price and their closest competition.
Obviously there isn't a whole lot of time left in the Alaska travel season, in terms of good weather. Late August or early September is near the end of the typical tourist season in Alaska.

The cheap fares also appear to be available in October/November/December as well, and even in the winter months of 2014, but be aware that a lot of the touristy things in Alaska shut down by mid September.
