Looks like Delta is having an unadvertised price drop on their flights from Winnipeg to Anchorage, Alaska (ANC). They've dropped their flights to about 50% below their usual bottom price and their closest competition.
Obviously there isn't a whole lot of time left in the Alaska travel season, in terms of good weather. Late August or early September is near the end of the typical tourist season in Alaska.

Early to mid September

The cheap fares also appear to be available in October/November/December as well, and even in the winter months of 2014, but be aware that a lot of the touristy things in Alaska shut down by mid September.

when I click the links provided for sept, it doesn't show up as the advertised $428 but instead of what seems to be the regular price of around 900ish. why?
Just need to be quicker, sometimes the fares change back fast!
