WestJet's new Ultra Low Cost Carrier 'Swoop' is showing fares from Winnipeg to Abbotsford, BC for $98 to $158 CAD roundtrip including taxes.

Keep in mind that $98 roundtrip is the base price, and includes *only* a personal item. Low cost carriers charge extra for *everything*.

Carry-on bags cost around $38 each way, and checked bags cost $27 each way.

Swoop is WestJet's plan to try and bring the low cost carrier model to Canada, similar to what Flair Air has been doing for the past year.

Vice versa flights (Abbotsford to Winnipeg) are also available for a similar roundtrip price.

How to find and book this deal

1. Go to the Swoop website

2. Change the search type to 'Roundtrip'

3. Search for a roundtrip flight from Winnipeg (YWG) to Abbotsford (YXX)

- Look for the dates that are $67 on the way there, and $32 on the way home.
