WestJet just dropped the price of their roundtrip flights from Winnipeg to Halifax, Nova Scotia down to $287 CAD roundtrip including taxes, to try and compete with New Leaf.
The problem is, the return flights on WestJet have an overnight layover in Hamilton.
But what you can do is play WestJet and New Leaf against each other.
Book a one way flight from Winnipeg to Halifax on WestJet for $132 CAD including taxes.
And then book a separate one way flight from Halifax to Winnipeg on New Leaf, for $164 CAD including taxes.
For a total cost of $296 CAD roundtrip including taxes, this will work out to approximately 47% cheaper than the usual best roundtrip prices from Winnipeg to Halifax.
