There are a few reasons I like this deal, beyond the fact that it's less than half the typical best price of a flight from Winnipeg to Aruba.
- The flights are as fast as Winnipeg - Aruba can be done, at around 8.5 hours of travel time. Getting from Winnipeg to Aruba quickly has never been easy, especially for a great price.
- Aruba is far south in the Caribbean, on the very fringes of the hurricane belt. Only six hurricanes have passed within 100km miles of Aruba over the past 140 years. Statistically speaking *most* places in the Caribbean are safe from hurricanes by late November. Aruba even more so.
- Unlike most places in the Caribbean you can actually find well reviewed places to stay in Aruba for under $150 CAD / night.
